Our benches are built to be robust, heirloom pieces, featuring our unique resin river inlay.
Design and Features
- Signature River Inlay: The bench features a decorative routered-out "river" inlay down the center, filled with hand-placed wood "cookies" (resembling branches) and sealed with a durable, food-grade safe epoxy. We do not buff the epoxy; we perform a fresh pour each time to maintain clarity and structural integrity.
- Live Edge Variation: All benches are Live Edge.
- Construction: The base uses robust joinery: legs are securely dowelled and reinforced with 45-degree bracing. The benches include feet levelers for stability.
Materials and Finish
- Primary Wood: Crafted from naturally dried, dead-standing Beetle Kill Pine from the Sedalia area of Colorado, known for its stability and beautiful blue-stain patterns.
- Finish: Protected with a highly durable, exterior-grade, marine-grade clear coat that provides a long-lasting, water-resistant seal (up to six years), making the bench suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
